A set of 3-dimensional illustrations created for a Wired Magazine article on quantum computing. The article discusses a new computer that claims to be “Quantum,” meaning it uses bits that are not binary, but can exist in two states at the same time. A handful of illustrators were sent empty black boxes (the computer’s actual shape), and asked to fill them with their representation of what may be going on inside, or to visualize the idea of quantum computing.
