JWT commissioned this spot for Royal Caribbean to expose the terrible truth that many of us are not using all of our vacation days. That means we’re not only missing out on fun things—like say, cruises—but also the benefits that come from taking a vacation, like being more productive and living longer. We wanted to present the facts but keep things fun and a little absurd, so we used an infomercial style mixed with lo-fi “special effects” and sleight-of-hand magic tricks to deliver the message.
