GreeNYC is New York City's environ-mental initiative campaign, now in its third year. HunterGatherer was originally asked by NYC & Co. to develop a series of animations to go along with the Mayor's launch of GreeNYC.
That campaign has since grown into an entire multi-media, seasonal series; encompassing print, outdoor, and television, as well as retail partnerships and targeted mini-campaigns.
The bird conveys environmental messages in a way that's atypical of most 'green' initiatives. The campaign is written and designed in a simple manner that has broad appeal without feeling preachy. Design: Todd St. John & Ryan Waller.
